Different Types of Pearl Earrings

Pearl earrings are popular and adopted by both sexes. In the western culture, these earrings are traditionally worn initially by females; later on ear piercing was also become popular in males of North America, Asia, Europe and Africa. Today, pearl earrings are favor of females.
Earrings components are made up of no. of materials. It includes silver, gold, stones, coral and pearls. Pearl earrings are made up of pearl heads. Different types of pearl can be used in different earrings. Their design ranges designs and patterns range from small loops to large plates.
Following are some types of pearl earrings which the people generally worn.
Stud pearl earrings have the property of its appearance floating on earlope without any visible point of connection. These are construction on end of the post which penetrates straight through ear.
Hoop pearl earrings are in circular and semi-circular designs. They look very similar as the ring. These pearl earrings are made of silver tubing, having a thin wire connection penetrating the ear. Hollow tubing is attached to wire at the front of ear and slips into tube at the back. The complete device is put together with the tension between wires and the tube.
Dangle pearl earrings are made to flow from bottoms of earlobes and available in different lengths from centimeter or two. These are generally fixed to the ear with the use of some thin wires. These wires are passed through earlobe and attached to themselves in small hook at back.
These are some common types of pearl earrings. Pearl is considered as the precious jewelry and their construction process is also complex and very cautions. For this, pearl heads need to be drilled and then drilled heads are to be stuck on earring mountings. The used glue should be of good quality ensuring the perfect stability of pearl.
